Dev Deepawali, also known as Dev Diwali, is one of the most sacred and visually stunning festivals of India, celebrated fifteen days after Diwali on Kartik Purnima. This day marks the divine victory of Lord Shiva over the demon Tripurasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. It is believed that on this night, the Devatas (Gods) descend to Earth to bathe in the holy Ganga and witness the grand celebration in Kashi (Varanasi), making it the Festival of Lights of the Gods.
