Sita Navami – The Divine Birth Celebration of Maa Sita

Introduction

Sita Navami is one of the most sacred Hindu festivals dedicated to the birth anniversary of Goddess Sita, the divine consort of Lord Rama and the symbol of purity, patience, devotion, sacrifice, and strength. This auspicious day is celebrated on the Navami (ninth day) of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakha according to the Hindu calendar.

He considered this child a divine blessing from Mother Earth and named her Sita.
